Tony Stewart Motorsports Follow Up

Ok, I had a bunch of my questions answered by just catching up on some reading.

The team will be Tony Stewart Motosports and it is almost for sure that Ryan Newman will drive the second car. They will be a satellite team of Hendrick Motorsports so they will be in Chevy’s. Just as a point of comparison, Rousch racing has a satellite team in Yates Racing, that gives them 7 cars and the drivers are a good group: Kenseth, Edwards, Ragan, Biffle, McMurray, Kvapil, and Gilliland.

Now sit down or grab onto something, in the 2009 season, Hendrick with the Tony Stewart Motorsports satelite team will have Jeff Gordon, Jimmy Johnson, Dale Jr., Mark Martin, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman. Holy crap!!!! That is one hell of a drafting contingent. I am not a fan of Hendrick and never have been. It will be very difficult to pull for Hendrick proper but I am already looking for TSM swag.
